i got 3 bets on, and if one of them wins i get back E1450 for a E4 bet. My real bet is on Cloudy Lane though. hot favourite to win, but the National is always hard to guess.

You need a lot of luck to win the National but I think if Cloudy Lane jumps around he's weighted to win.

I won £83 last year, but I bet purely on which name and outfit i liked best, it turned out to be the winner but I'm not banking on such luck this time around!

This year I'm being more tacticle, and either going for Butler's Cabin or Point Barrow.

I only stick a fiver on anyway!

think i am going for Slim Pickings, ran well last year coming in third, and has been building up for the nationals all year.

If you are really still undecided, try using a winner predictor, there are a few around, here is one

i've had the last 2 winners of the national, and the two which strongly stand out and i believe will win are:
    simon 14-1
    chelsea harbour 16-1

    each way selections:
    knowhere 50-1
    madison du berlais 66-1

if i had to pick one for the whole thing, it would be SIMON.
