    This is absurd.

Pretty dumb IMO. Any bad behavior is a direct result of the animals handling.

It's pretty dumb. I thought it was a funny news story but the truth is that they are most likely impounding the donkey until the owner pays for the damages/fines.

Is that even real? If it is, I think it is completely ridiculous. Animals don't think like humans, especially prey animals. So putting them in jail makes no sense to them. Throwing a donkey in jail for "bad behavior" is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Ugh, I have SO many things I could comment about on how half the human population really are completely ignorant when it comes to animals, but it would take WAY too long and probably wouldn't accomplish anything...

What are they trying to prove?

    Conversation of the reformed donkey:

Jail donkey:Yeah, life was hard, few oats, and they cuffed my tail to the wall.
    Kid donkey: Oh, how sad,
Jail donkey: Yep, but it strangly reminded me of home.
    Kid donkey: Wierd.

Ha, ha! I heard this question earlier today! Another laugh!

I saw this item on another website. It is Mexico, a totally different country and way of life. There is nothing any of us can do about it. I doubt the donkey is suffering any, in fact he is probably better off in jail where he is given hay and water and not loaded with an over weight load of who knows what.

Oh my god. I've heard it all now. That's absolutely crazy. Jail is for humans wo have done something that they are aware is wrong. Animals don't know right from wrong. It's not like the donkey is going to be standing in the cell thinking "Oh my gosh, what have I done?? Now I'll never get a good job and be able to support my family".Its completely absurd!
